High-protein chocolate spread, great with fruit or whipped cream as a dessert, or spread on a bagel or toast for breakfast.

Ingredients
  • 1 14 oz can chickpeas drained
  • 5 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 6 dates pureed or chopped finely
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • tsp salt
  • ¼ cup oil
  • 3 tbsp water
Recipe
  1. Combine all ingredients except water in food processor and process until smooth and combined.
  2. Add water as needed until smooth.
  3. Taste and adjust seasonings and sweetness level.
